Being a veteran, it’s important for me to reflect on the sacrifices that others have made so that our country could be free. Not just today but everyday. I’m eternally proud to have served our country voluntarily for just under 8 years. It was one of the best experiences of my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Gratefully, I wasn’t called upon to go to war but if I had, I would have done my job the best that I knew how to do.
Thank you to all veterans who have served our country. Your sacrafice means more to me and our country than you know.
Veteran’s Day Celebrations in Roseville
There are two ceremonies in Roseville today. One at Royer Park at 11am put on by Post 1487 of the Veterans of Foreign Wars , Roseville Veterans Memorial Hall, 110 Park Drive at Royer Park. For more Info call 916-783-5885.
Then another at the WW II monument in downtown Roseville, sponsored by the United Veterans of Roseville, the City of Roseville, Surewest and the Roseville Historical Society. The ceremony will be celebrated at 2 p.m. Their motto this year revolves around the Revolutionary War.
